After my recent encounter with gravity induced loosening of my yoke mounts, I’m wondering how I can augment my seat insert mounts. I’ve been traveling with the Backsaver and pad attached. Speeds things up at the put-in. Always done it.
My idea: Strategic injection of Gflex with the canoe upside down? Keeping the threads clear would be the most important thing. I’d have to drill a hole to inject, of course, use gravity to distribute the epoxy around the expanded wings.
