Black Bart or Max Craft Paddles

Do you mean Black Bart as in Bud Moll? I ordered a custom paddle from Bud for paddling a voyageur canoe in the Adirondack 90 mile race. I learned a couple of weeks after I received my paddle that Bud had died after striking a bear on his motorcycle. Mine could well have been the last paddle that he made. No way am I going to give up that one. That paddle will be on its way north to the Yukon race for the 5th time this coming June.
