This is a large (22x17x10.5" or roughly 64 litre) canvas Canada Post mail bag conversion. It weighs a little over 4 lbs. Whoever did it erred on the side of discretion, placing the Canada Post logos on the inside. It has shoulder straps, over straps, and a tumpline.
It has been around the block a few times - moose in the boreal, caribou on the taiga - and it shows. The canvas could use a good scrub. I just spent the better part of an hour cleaning verdigris out of the hardware, but you can still see bits of green here and there on the bag and straps. The leather is in great condition - no cracking and always well oiled (probably what lead to the verdigris). There are no tears/holes in the canvas. It does have that "old canvas bag" smell.
You can pay for shipping (from Montreal area) or if you are in the area/traversing Quebec at some point I could simply hand it over.
