My in-laws left us this solo canoe. We don't do solo trips. Trying to pin down exactly what this canoe is, a price range, and find someone interested in buying and using it.

I can take any photos that would help ID the canoe.

Thank you.

Sometimes I think I should set up a temporary shelter/cover for canoes I'd like to try but not necessarily keep for any length of time. Maybe use for a season and then sell them. Even if sold at a loss, the "lease rate" would be very reasonable on a monthly basis.

I kind of did that once. It was really fun. For a couple years I bought a ton of different canoes whenever I found a good deal. Some I kept but most I resold, some at a loss and some at a profit. I got to paddle a lot of different hull shapes and learned a lot about what I like and what I don't like.

I have a Traveller III. Can confirm that it is fast. I also enjoyed the comments above on "tender" and stability as "not good." I would just say "tippy." Better with some weight in it, but it's not a flat-bottomed boat. Overall a joy to paddle if you're paying attention. (I don't know if still is still helpful to the original poster, but sharing here in case others are interested in this model.)
