Had breakfast with one of the guys that went with us last month. He really would like to go in and spend some time with the trains so I told I was up for another go at it.
Last night I was talking with a bunch of Train Buffs about the Eagle Lake and West Branch RR and one older fellow wandered into the conversation when he overheard the word 'Lombard'. He said he had seen the engines in the Engine House. I asked so you were there in the early 60's? Mid 50's and went on to say the trestle was still standing.
