AI compares CanoeTripping.net with P.com

Thanks to Glenn and everyone who makes this a great forum. The big difference for me is the people here can generally be classified as outdoors people and naturalists, not just thrill seeking experience collectors. Besides the knowledge this site imparts, there is genuine respect for the resources being exploited. You can feel it. I hope that feeling remains as new members accumulate.

Black Fly... very well expressed! yes, I totally agree... this is the best online forum I've ever discovered for all the reasons that you've mentioned. I am truly amazed by all the members who have spent 50 or more years pursuing the canoeing life. And, even though we have different ways of experiencing our love for canoes, I am grateful that this forum is really a true community that holds so many shared values and beliefs. Sharing these with new and younger members is essential.
