    Laminating seat frames

    After making up a sliding seat for my solo I decided to take it out because the boat turned out to be too heavy at 49 Lbs. The seat is an Eds canoe contoured seat which weighed close to 2 Lbs by itself with the sliding mount adding another 4 Lbs. I was hoping to end up with the solo weighing 45...

    Curtis Vagabond

    I don't see the Vagabond listed on the Hemlock website, so I think it's out of production. Can anyone tell me how to contact DY to see if he is able or willing to sell a set of plans. I Like the looks and specs of this boat and think it would make a great build for a day paddler.

    Solo with a Greenland style paddle

    Close to finishing my solo stripper and starting to look ahead towards trying a two bladed paddle to use with it. Right off, I realize lighter is better but I'm considering a Greenland style paddle because I could make one myself to give a two blade a try and not be in for $200 for the carbon...

    Adjustable sliding solo seat

    Planning ahead for an adjustable seat for my solo stripper I have been doing some research but haven't found a set up that I like. Most are mounted to aluminum tubes on a platform base that I'm sure works good but I'm leaning towards a more traditional look, without hanging it from the gunnels...
