I see faces in all sorts of things. The one woodworking/machining forum I follow has its own thread on this topic. I don’t usually hear music of voices. I see a lot of trolls when I’m in Norway, but that is to be expected. Jim

I am lucky, I married just that woman. She is just as supportive of tools also, but I am working on thinning down the tools I own and I don’t do too much buying anymore. Jim

At least Mem suggested isolating the wood from the fiberglass so it is easy to revert back to canvas if one so chooses. Jim

I can’t think of a better boat to learn on. You can’t make it any worse than it is. Don’t get overwhelmed by the entirety of the project just take it one task at a time. You will learn a lot. Jim

Alcohol is about as quiet as you can get. Another plus is water easily puts out the fire especially in the canoe, but wind could be an issue. No easy answers. Jim

I had some short knap carpet that I wrapped around my pipe rack and securely wrapped it with duct tape. These are eight years old but they don’t live outside all the time, but but at least half the summer. When they fail I know how to replace them. Jim
