Be aware that TB3 in particular is known to "Creep" in bent laminations. Probably would be fine with the epoxy/glass encasing it from the outside, but since it's encased anyway, regular wood glues are probably a better choice.

Welcome to the shared insanity of canoe building. a little addendum to this particular bit of advice: Be aware of conditions where you canoe. I end up in situations where I track in a lot of sand and fine silt. It tends to stick in the weave if you choose not to do a fill-coat on the inside.
