2024 was a good year for me. I was able to check off items on my trip list, making 8 multi-day trips to the Adirondacks. Now that I have a canvas wall tent and stove I hope to get an early start this Spring.

The Lows Lower Dam repair project has been taking longer than expected, has anyone heard when it might reopen. Weather forecasters predict a warmer than usual Fall. Would be nice to squeeze in a quick trip.

I also carried my canoe on my cap with simple foam blocks. I attached web straps loops sticking out from under the cap for tie downs. Simple, low cost and never any problems.

Does anyone dehydrate raw eggs? I'm not talking about those freeze dried eggs you buy. I mean raw eggs dehydrated like you would anything else. I've seen dozens of videos on dehydrating eggs and they claim it's fine. I've been wanting to try it, any advice?
