I'm going to post a series of polls asking how many miles a day you do while tripping. Each poll will be for a specific style of paddling: Canadian style tandem, hit and switch, etc.

Two weeks ago on the St. Croix here in Maine we passed by the Baby's Grave campsite where four kids in their 20s/30s were blasting Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train" while preparing breakfast. We paddled just a little faster to make sure they didn't catch up to us.

Two things. Thinning the herd and accepting the limitations of degenerative disc disease. Realistically, I've never going to do the kind of tripping for which this was designed. I'd rather it be under the control of someone who can play adventurous now out of my reach.

This probably will be listed for just another week and then I'm likely to take it on a trip where it will get scratched up a bit.So if you're in the market for a like new SRT, let me know.
