    Tandem Build - Des Moines

Thank you for detailing your bandsaw setup. Are the bead and cove cut on a router table with similar infeed and outfeed extensions?

    Ultra Lite Cot

The airflow underneath makes it great for warm/hot weather camping. Cooler than laying on a sleeping pad. I use a cotton hostel sleeping bag and a blanket for those conditions. I really like it.

    Shifting to winter

I closed up the beehives (only two first year hives) and have been winterizing a lot of things here and at MS's house. Along with cutting and splitting firewood for MS. Thankfully she does the stacking. I only saw snowflakes one day but nothing stuck.

    Lanterns for canoe camping

I only used it on one 4 night trip but I had no complaints with the Luci Lantern. Solar Powered, small, inflatable, waterproof lantern. Not too heavy and has two brightness settings and a strobe function. During the day I would tie it to a canoe deck to charge the integral battery pack. At...

    Emberlit Stoves Fireant

You're most welcome. I forgot to mention it comes with its own nylon envelope with a velcro closure to keep it together and keep your gear soot free when packed. It's nice not having to carry fuel and finding everything you need to burn laying on the ground close by.

    Stripper plan sources?

With a review like that from Memaquay it sounds like the Winisk it will be. That's what I'm looking for something that's good with a load in it that can get through all conditions. Thank you.

Alternate method for securing tracking / lining lines

I noticed Bill Mason using some sort of rope arrangement to line his canoe from the bottom in one of his movies. I can't recall which one. I thought it was a neat idea but have never tried it or even rigged it up at home.
