I agree it is tricky. Any parameters from the camp for suggestions? Or is it your camp? Opinel could be a good choice, easy to open and it can be locked open. I wish they could be locked closed too as I had one partially open in my pocket. Jim

I’ve never seen that type of house wrap. If you can keep it from fraying maybe with duct tape it should work. Jim

I too will be introducing my dog to a canoe. I’ve had him in my guideboat but he was standing paws on the gunnel the whole time. The guideboat is stable enough it was no problem. Good for you getting your dog on the water, she’s a beauty. Jim
