Videographer/drone pilot wanted to document an open-boat expedition in British Columbia's Inside Passage in May 2026, and to edit a series of YouTube videos. This is a paid position, with principal videography lasting about 16 days, not including post production and editing. The videographer will travel north from Seattle on the expedition's mother boat up to B.C. waters. The 2025 series of this can be seen on YouTube. See link below. The videographer must have already produced their own Youtube videos. Travel expenses will be paid, as well as lodging and meals. Persons with canoeing/portaging experience are ideal. Serious inquiries only. Contact georgec@coastaltransportation.com for more details.

Sounds like a great adventure. My son has a drone videographer business, I have sent you a connection email. I just bought my first drone for Christmas and am studying for my FAA certification, but am a long way from being a videographer.

If you are considering a Canadian based videographer it would probably be more attractive if the pickup was on the Canadian side of the border especially if they were bring any substantial amount of gear.

There are a lot of skilled video people with paddling experience here in Canada.

A Canadian based person would be ideal. I'm thinking of all the Ontario paddlers who have a presence on YouTube. However, much of the filming does occur in Seattle. As mentioned, we pay for travel.
