I cut n clean quality pieces and place in a gallon ziplock. Put just enough soy sauce to cover. Add a cup of honey and a cup of brown sugar. A few tablespoons of garlic powder. Splash of pepper. Add chili flakes optional.. marinate over night.
goes in a little chief smoker 12 hrs aprox...
A lot of small trout between the beaver dams at the headwaters but after High Falls the river got kinda muddy and sunlit. We did see a bear swim across just before High Rock!

Maybe whitefish or chubbs. It was all trout for us, plenty good eating size, they were delicious with kerry butter and adobo.
Yeah, yellow and crocs. And he wears blue or red shirts that drive me crazy because i like the earth tone color aestetic out in the woods. Have to admit tho I now...
I'd consider entry from Lila next time or just going in and out of Inlet for the Upper Oswagatchie. If I'm ever back I would want to stay 2 days on the upper O section.
Havnt yet explored the Wanakena area so that may well happen next season.
