For a country where canoes are such a big part of your heritage (or at least that is an idea i had) the paddling skills have a bit room for improvement, So have the ergonomics of the canoes I saw.

A dear friend had that same agreenment/rule. Only not a maleecite but a jensen 18 in kul. Untill I had squeeezeed in a savage river susquehanna in thier fleet. 6 months later the jensen was gone. They are still a happy paddling couple.

THe escapde is a great boat for all the stuff you discribe. Lightus couples daytrips flatwater. Occasionaly en weekender or further if you pack light aka walking camp people. I did paddle it a numbr of times i think it is one of the better wenonnah models that does deliver what it advertized...

Greenval barracuda.. Not sure how well it behaves with 340 lbs. I Did paddle that one and it is yummie with my 80 ish kilo's I would start with that and maybe scale that. Or look very carrenfully at a blackwater or a swift cruiser. Or put a sail on your kite. ;)
