Up for sale is this classic Mad River Malecite. I'm the 2nd owner, have stored it in the shed for the 8 years or so I've had it, kept the gunnels oiled, 303'd periodically. Looks like it was used a lot, but not abused, before I bought it from the original owner. Lots of fading, scratches, and some streaking on the hull; looks like drip lines from the rails. Even some 303 improves the appearance, pics show it dry.P1000613.JPGP1000612.JPG
Stems are scratched up, but not thru to the cloth. No serious scratches either, lots of the usual surface variety.
Gunnels are good, EXCEPT for a few inches of the stern stem; I cut them back 2-3", looks like there's a little more rot to remove. Fully planned to repair that, and buff the hull, but not able to now due current circumstances. Located in Montgomery, VT. $650.00 $600.00

FYI, I saw that on Facebook North American Canoe Traders, so the sale’s got some good visibility.

GLWYS.

That's a great boat at what looks like a great price, I love mine. I thought about getting it for myself for back East, but decided that coughing up another 3 grand or so to save 5-10 lbs. is a better idea.

Fortunately I've almost recouped enough money for the upgrade from the sale of a couple old boats.

I often don’t see my typos (or autoincorrects) until someone replies to the thread again, especially if they quote me.
