"You are invited to the Wisconsin Canoe Symposium (WCS)! The symposium is located in Westfield, WI, approximately 60 minutes north of Madison, WI. Arrive as early as Thursday afternoon and paddle through mid-day on Sunday."

"NEW THIS YEAR: You can arrive as early as Wednesday afternoon. Explore, hangout, swim, and relax. For those with good paddling and maneuvering skills, there is an option to paddle a trip on a section of the nearby Mecan River on Thursday. Freestyle classes commence on Friday morning, and conclude mid-day on Sunday."

WCS has been running for at least a decade. It's organized by Tracy Hunt and Paul Klonowski.

Thanks for posting this Glenn, I probably wouldn't have known about it otherwise. I'll be there with my Swift Cruiser 16.8: not an ideal freestyle boat, but it's what I have, and I'm looking forward to improving my boat handling skills in it. I also signed up for the touring technique class.
