18ft Kevlar 49 tandem listed at 51 lbs
Saw old threads including Robin’s rebuild.
Plastic sliding seats, aluminum cross pieces.
Saw in P Net old threads and BWCA that Ted Bell was involved with the company.
I have a Souris River 17ft tandem but thinking this might be good for….yep, gift to my daughter.
Guessing 1980’s. Owner asking $400.
Any opinions? Thanks.

They did some neat stuff in the 80s. A friend had a solo race boat at about 18 pounds, used Hexcel core stiffening. I think I raced their cruiser then, but it was a long time ago.

I had an old Wabash Valley C1 racer from the mid-80's. It was really beat-up. The core had delaminated. I never cut it open to look but remember a couple people saying they used balsa for core material for a while, which would explain it.

I had a sweet Wabash Valley Merlin. Kevlar with white gel coat and wood trim. The fit and finish was excellent. 1988 iirc. That hull design was not what I wanted but it was a nice boat.
