Nice report Patrick, it's great seeing a wood canvas canoe used as it was intended. Jerry Stelmonk would appreciate this I would think. It's sad that many folks don't post trip reports anymore, that used to be the meat of a tripping website. I appreciate this report and all the others that still do.

Great write-up and some awesome pictures to go with it! I really enjoyed your writing style and I love trip reports to help plan and to see places I am unlikely to paddle. Thanks for taking the time to write & post.

I was a serious slacker in that respect in 2022 (not even 1 canoe trip this year!) but I've got 4 planned for '23 so I should be able to contribute again soon.
