The spare paddle, what do you take?

A Bending Branches Special is our spare and solely intended as such. It delaminated between the blade and the rockguard. I fixed it by dremeling a gap and filling it with epoxy. Not pretty but it does the job. BB Espresso + and Foxworx Standard bent are our work horses.

I must be old fashion, I'm the only one that brings a 72" beavertail for standing, it also has good leverage for wind when seated. Other than that I bring a handcarved beavertail with a narrow blade for flat water. For ww I'll add a plastic Mohawk with aluminum shaft.
