Funny. I like it. But with my luck we'd wind up with skunks and racoons.
On our way north in September driving Hwy 401 my wife saw in the wee hours a coyote loping along, crossing the road and into the green-space inside an intersection cloverleaf. (My eyes were on the road.) Not an unusual sighting these days. Some evenings I leave the gate open to our fenced yard, just in case a passing coyote wants to rid me of the city cats that wander through. I wouldn't miss the racoons and skunks either.

Coyotes seem to have have increased near Bancroft since the ban on wolf shooting next to Algonquin Park began.

Also reports in the Toronto area, coyotes eating cats and dogs. I guess cats and dogs taste better than skunks and raccoons.

Walking the dog the other evening I heard a pack of coyotes yipping and howling. I am on the edge of a city of 750,000
