I've got a new trip report up on my Labour Day day trip up to Susan Lake. First new ground in three months, which was very exciting. Also exciting, playing "will I or will I not disappear into this patch of soft, soft mud like it's Algonquin's answer to quicksand?" at multiple locations along the way!

I use the same approach at dinner parties. "Don't eat those crab cakes, there is something wrong with them" Then I gorge myself on crab cakes
