It would be worth traveling for an event like that one. I have been to many horse and mule events over the years like Bishop Mule Days which lasts for a week. There are some good boat shows in California that I used to go to. The nearest big canoe event is probably 800 miles from here by Seattle.

Thanks Robin. I wasn't aware of this festival. It looks like a great way to celebrate some of the history and culture of Temagami.
