Does anyone have a good recipe for pemican? I've assembled most of the ingredients that I think I need, but not sure about the portions or if I'm missing something.
 

Here is a recipie I stole from the internet. It is good in explaining the how tos. I always used ground venison in mine. After cooking the meat, I would use a strainer to wash off any left over fat, then dehydrate until it was like crumbly gravel. Crush it up into what looks a bit like coffee grounds and add it to my mix. I would use beef tallow as a binder because I prefer that over venison tallow.

All this said, I hope yours turns out better than mine. It never really turned out too well for me, mostly keeping the fat hard was my biggest problem.
