I can't imagine being in the water and watching a 17' Grumman bearing down on me while riding a wave. That's nuts! I've surfed in a kayak before but don't think I could pull it off in a canoe like he did. Just amazing.

I did that once (completely unintentional) at Canoe lake in Algonquin! surfing is easy, landing sucks, I had to bail over the side or I would have littered the beach with little fiberglass snowflakes!
