Here's a little item I picked up at this summers Wooden Canoe Heritage Association's Assembly in Paul Smiths NY.
It's hand made by the lady who sells them, she makes all sizes but this one cost $15. It attaches to a gunnel or thwart or seat with the strap included. It comes with a koozie, but that's more trouble than it's worth, too hard to get the "soda"
out of the basket. I stuff a sponge in there and it seems to work better.
And when your not out on the trail, it looks neat in your shop or hanging on the wall.
I had 6 more shipped to my house for Christmas gifts. $15 bucks for a neat little item is a good deal.
