Any thoughts or recommendations for a winter trip in Missouri or Kansas to camp and paddle? I decided to sell my dirt bike this winter and go all-in on paddling for the next few years with my boys. It's been fun the last month buying all the things I've yearned for with MY bike money (as opposed to OUR money which always requires a conversation). Got my new-to-me Kevlar canoe, Hilleberg Nallo, Sea to Summit comfort plus pad, and my Yeti waterproof backpack all set and ready to go....and then realized it's going to be as long to my next trip in the bwca as it was from my last trip, and the last trip seems like forever ago. Seems like I have to go south from here in Omaha to find open water so that's why I thought MS or KS. Any suggestions?
