Featured evening speaker is Peter Marshall who did a 2600 mile canoe trip from the Pacific Ocean to Hudson's Bay. The trip stayed entirely north of the 60th parallel.
Check out his video trailer; it's awesome

The rest of the schedule and workshops will flesh out during the Spring.

Becky Mason and Reid Maclachlan are coming to teach too. Jim Andrews is presenting on travelling the Maine Coast (Maine Island Trail) under human power.

just bumping up this thread. I realized that if I edit as programs come to fruition, the thread stays buried.

Peter Marshall has those great video's on youtube tube "Across Canada by Canoe" from 6 years ago with his brother. What a great trip, I never understood why that trip didn't go on a major network, even a documentary channel.
It would have been refreshing to see a couple of brothers doing what they did over the long haul rather than some of the crap we see nightly nowadays.
Just me talkin'

I will make every effort to be there for his presentation, another outstanding adventure. Good for MCS

I followed their blog on the Pacific to Hudson bay trip. Just amazing what they were willing to do to complete the trip. Wish I could be there for the talk. I agree, Robin. These are the guys who should be the heros of today's youth.
