Lake Superior Plants and Fungi

I have no idea what most are. It's a boreal forest ecosystem dominated by alder, balsam and white birch

I'm pretty sure I've seen small colonies of the fungi in the second picture in the ADKs. I have no idea what it is either or if it is actually the same stuff.
