It's a good group on this site with everybody pitching in with help and no hot-shots.
I love La Vérendrye. It's my favourite place for solo canoe tripping. On most of my trips I see maybe 2-3 canoes a week.
That and the super clean campsites.

Hello and welcome Frederic. I know nothing of canoeing in l'Abitibi and would love to hear about it. La Verendrye is on my list of places to go, and I would love to hear more about that destination also.

I have done many trips to La Verendrye, some with Shearwater, Gerald and Yellowcanoe. We should meet and share a camp sometime.
