Below is a list of events scheduled for the shop starting next month. Assuming no change in COVID restrictions, we're inviting folks to gather at the shop if they're in the area. Here's a link to the full list

FYI: The Solo folks charge for their course, and the Rapid Media sell tickets for their fest. The shop doesn't charge anything for either. Some of the proceeds from the Fest are provided to the shop. Our plan is to donate that, most likely to the local watershed association that we sponsor.

I'll be looking forward to the Jan 27th and the April 16th events. Steve Lapey is a great guy, he knows his wood canoes for sure.

Keith, I suggest you keep your events centralized in this one thread and post registration reminders of the events as they become close, as replies in this thread. That way, members will always know where to go to get news of your OP events. Of course, you could always remind someone by private conversation if there is something unique to that person.

Sounds like good advice - I'll do that. Thanks.

Hi folks - just wanted to let you know that we've renamed and updated our April 16 event - we're now calling it the "Spring 2022 "Canoe Gathering at White Rose Canoe". We think the changes better communicate that this is intended to be a canoeing community event, not simply a "demo day". Take a look - should be a fun day.

We've also created a Facebook event for the Canoe Gathering. Please share it with your friends and other groups who might be interested - let's gather like it's 1919!!

Sorry for the short notice, but things happen.

We'll post another update when we have a revised plan in place.
