Very nice paddling. I first went with friend from the area. The water is very clear. It is eerie
To paddle over trees that were flooded after the pits closed. I believe that one access was closed last summer and I am not sure of the status of that access. There is some camping available but I have only done day trips here. Also in the area are the Mississippi and Pine Rivers.
