My son and I spent a couple of days at our camp near Pipestem traveling each day to Bluestone Lake for some fishing and site seeing. The fishing was slow with only one big catfish putting up a 5 minute fight. It was a lot of fun as it pulled my canoe around as I slowly wore it down. All told I think we only caught 15 fish. We did scope out a new place to try on our next trip. We found a good place to put in on the upper New river at the Indian Creek camp ground. Below are some pics from our trip.
