Just seen the message... the T-Formex is holding up great... I've ran some class III waters and hit some cross flows that slammed the side of canoe hard into some pointed rocks. it put a small 5" dent/crease on outside side of boat... but didn't damage boat,,, looks mainly. Canoe is holding up...

I'm like several others on here... +1 for a hammock... I prefer a 11' hammock, and the ridge line at 9'. Lay a-symmetric if your a side sleeper like me...

Alot of great info... I'll let u know how it holds up... May take many years... I do want another canoe in Kevlar or kevlar that has a shell... still not sure which way to go on that... been looking at the Wenonah Spirit II

I never had a composite canoe and I do like them, but with the rock scrapping here, I was afraid it would not last as long. Thats good to know that your composite boat holds up well...

I know the Esquif is pricier with Tformex. My royalex is still in great shape even after 15 years and hoping the Esquif holds up as well.. it will be used alot in class I and II. My next boat will be a kevlar boat for enjoying the still waters.

Thanks Canotrouge... NoDrama,,, My kni-co and UL1 doesn't have baffle,,, they do a great job and I prefer not to have a baffle in a small stove.

The 4-dog ul1 I have has no baffle. I had him add sleeves on both side of stove so if I wanted I could add my side shelf from Kni-co stove and the 2 gal water tank... The main reason I even bought the water tank was to help shield heat while I was in the hammock and give alittle hot water...But...
