I'd really like to do the inland route of Isle Royale National Park this year. Will Probably do BWCA again at some point, and would like to do a couple rivers in the UP that I have yet to do (Paint, Escanaba, Michigamme, Whitefish, etc).

I mean in theory isn't paddling a canoe not properly trimmed just poor technique? (Sometimes I hate what I say too).

I'm also interested in this also as a canoe outfitter actually recommended a polaris to me for solo use before. I'm also a bigger guy at 6ft 2in, 230 lbs.
