I'd get a lighter version of whatever than I now have, but it has to be rock resistant. Finding the balance between weight and strong, is always difficult. The older we get, the weight will be more of a problem and we need to find waters that are less challenging.

I'm pretty sure that the only large production volume canoes that are regularly sold without any gel coat are Northstars and the epoxy Swifts Wenonah skincoat? I have no clue if that is gelcoat or.....
