Suggestions for a 3 person tent

Thanks YC. Yes the MSR did have a good rep for leak resistance right out of the factory. We here we do not have the same selection of tents to chose from as you people down there. My problem is that the credit Mec gave me has to be used in a Mec store or Mec online. The Mec selection of tents...

Suggestions for a 3 person tent

Just brought a 2 year old Mec tent back for a credit. Seams were coming apart. Now I'm looking for a 3 person 3 season tent in the $300.00 - $400.00 CDN range. Mec sell a lot of MSR tents but most reviews say that they take in water even when new. Anyone here have a recently purchased MEC 3...

It's better to be bow paddler in a pandemic

Up here in Quebec we do not have to worry about canoeing partner contagion as all our rivers and lakes run only North - South and here the wind only blows form the West.;). We also practice safe sex which means sleeping in our own tents.:cool: Stay safe guys. G.

    Post Apocalypse Tripping World

Hey BF, Trying to be realistic. So far the virus is still scoring points on our D-fence and we are already mid-April. As The Prophet says: "The more you do without, the more you'll appreciate". It's going to be great to get out there again. Happy trails man. G.

    Post Apocalypse Tripping World

The way I see it the return to normal will be slow until we are all vaccinated. Borders will probably remained closed to the general public until then. It will probably be difficult for us Canadians to use our parks and canoeing areas this calendar year. The older we are the longer it will take...

    Dogs in Tents?

I set up my bedding, clothing, etc. inside the tent and cover everything with a guide tarp. So if dog is dirty and/or wet nothing gets dirty or soaked. Nothing like waking up in the morning with the dog snuggled next to you. Gerald
