I actually thought about editing my response, to change “read” to “responded to.” Then I decided not to bother, concluding that no one would perceive the subtle, but obvious inaccuracy. I concluded this even though I knew that you were lurking along the shore!

Have you tried the Indian Stroke? It’s completely quiet, I suspect even with a bent shaft. I have done it only with a straight shaft, though.
