Coats of varnish? I'm at that point with three applied and it looks pretty good. Also, how soon after the last coat can I get her wet?

The BDBs are good but I found them a little lacking in tenacity. Thus I crafted my own, larger units, for a lot less cost and more flexibility. Like hauling small racks of lumber. They also go inside my canoe a paddle straps etc and on the outside of my packs for loose items.

Found this today in my canoe file. Maybe you can use it as a sales flier. Interesting that the natural finish was more expensive than the painted versions. Also the term reinforced plastic rather than the common fiberglass. Mac

Sadie has yet to be bored in the BWCA as she is almost always on alert, unless it is late on a lazy warm day and the pack is just too comfortable. Once in camp she will get her "fly-bys" out of her system then find a spot to curl up and call her own. That is of course unless it is bed time...
