    A Question about Folding Saws

I took my Gomboy with us on an Allagash run this year. My son broke a 1/3 of it off. I've never broken a Friskar Saw

    A Question about Folding Saws

Just another option. I like a ridged blade, it's one less thing that can go wrong

    A Question about Folding Saws

I like these. They cut fast and are cheap enough to replace every few years https://www.homedepot.com/p/Fiskars-18-in-D-Handled-Pruning-Saw-393540-1011/203273602

    Good idea?

As was mentioned above if you could use it for inflating mattresses, hook it up to a water filtration system, maybe. But I'm not spending $100 for a plastic paddle. I'll stick with my Gallon Jug with the bottom cut out of it, $0.

Joe Seliga’s “the art of the canoe”

It is a great book, I really enjoyed reading it back in the day when I thought I'd like to build canoes as a retirement gig. When the book arrived I opened it to the inside family picture to find it was signed by Joe who signed it as 1906 but later in the book it reads 1907. Mom, Dad, and Sis...

So, what old item do you still use?

The oldest would be a Cold Handle Fry Pan. The oldest piece I bought new and still use is my EMS 1st Aid Kit from the early 70s
