    I find it easier to fold the tent, tarps and tipis first and then roll it up. Why? Because of the cords and ropes, which are then not quite as tangled as when I simply stuff the tent into the stuff sack.

    On paddling trips I take two paddles (Grey Owl Sugar Island / Grey Owl-Northern Light) and a divisible double paddle. As my Wilma is very susceptible to wind, it has proved very helpful for me to use a double paddle in strong headwinds.
