I found 2 dead bass in my pond. The 16 inch tried to eat a 12 inch head first and choked to death with the smaller fish about 4 inches down the bigger basses throat.

I received an email from Stan @ slipstream. The canoe is an impulse, the "experimental" is the laminate, the design is set and the boat is in production. Receiving an answer to my inquiry on a Sunday is impressive, I will have to give this canoe a serious look.

A friend of mine said he saw a Slipstream "Experimental" canoe today. Would that be a model, like Impulse or wee lassie or is it indeed an "experimental" canoe?

For 20+ years I fished in my pond with my feet hanging over the side of the canoe. One day there was a big splash from behind me, I figured muskrat or maybe a beaver. I turned around just in time to see a huge snapping turtle dive under the canoe. No more dangling toes in the water.

Best I can say is, "Nobody is going to grab it and run off with it!"

My wife says this story, "Sounds Fishy!"

I'll be there Friday thru Sunday, then I'll head North to do some fishing for a few days.
