Very nice!

This winter I'll be building a few SOF kayaks and probably another canoe depending on time. I'm also building custom kitchen counters and restoring/converting an antique cabinet into a disguised entertainment center. Both for a regular client of mine.

I wipe my hulls down generously with steaming hot water before doing any fairing or epoxy work. It swells the staples holes a bit and they are much less visible when finished, plus it's a lot less work than filling them all. When that doesn't work out I like to ignore them and hope they go away. :)

Thanks sweeper. Let me add that I am typically good about pfd use, but in the pic of me I was testing the new boat in a couple feet of water with several folks with me and in my hurry to try it out I just tossed the pfd in the boat and hopped in. I did put it on before I paddled out in the lake.
