I just started a youtube channel call Canoe Gear Review. Will be giving reviews on gear, canoes, paddles, pfds, camping and tripw and tips. I have nothing up yet but am working on it and hope to have a review up this week. Please check it out and subscribe.

Too much junk in the canoe. Just grab the far gunnel pull yourself in and bail. Safer to do all the bailing from inside the canoe, it will float even full of water, no need for all the equipment and ropes to get tangled in.

Here in NC its been in the low 80's as the high and mid to high 50's at night. great weather.

I finally got them on the phone today, ordered the Maine guide paddle. The paddle was $35 and sipping was only $9 and change.

Anyone in NC I am planning a day trip down the Johns River in Caldwell County on Sat. the 29th anyone interested in going along just send me a message. The Johns is an easy run will take about 4-6 hrs, maybe a class 2 but nothing higher. Thanks

Not to be bragging but here in the Mts of NC it is around 55. Love it. already been out on the lake for a few laps in the canoe. The nights or still getting down into the 30s.

In NC no registration or title required for a canoe, but I do have my certificate from Mad River in a safe place so that I have my serial # and proof it belongs to me.

In the world of the outdoors I have never met anyone who would not do for another when they were in need, whether it is the need for food, rescue, or just companionship, people of the outdoors are just GREAT!
