3 day St. Regis Canoe Area trip

Excellent report - some of is quite familiar as I did this last fall. On St Regis Pond I remember the barred owls and loons quite well, as they were quite loud one night! I may have missed it, but what can you tell us about your canoe? It's beautiful...that trek from Ochre to Fish is a tough...

Trip Report: Bog River Flow/Lows Lake, Adirondack Park, NY - May 24-28, 2019

Nice report - looking to head up that way this summer. I'm curious about your deck cover...is that custom? Do you have a source? But at the same time, I'm also curious why it was necessary...I didn't think this stretch had much white water, so was it for weather?

    Hello from Rochester NY

Nice...I won't be around, but sounds like a good program! Where is the Camping School? Is this related to the Voyageur training program up there?

    Hello from Rochester NY

After many years without any paddling, followed by a few years in a kayak, I just bought a 15' Hornbeck New Trick, and am looking forward to getting out in it. My earliest exposures to canoe tripping with were with my South Jersey Boy Scout troop - we'd spend every warm weekend on the water in...
