The Carmans flows into Southaven Park - but Blydenburgh (Nissequogue River) now has some Whitetail Deer in it.

Thank you. I came around a bend in the river and there she was with that bright green river grass still in her mouth. I was scrambling to get the camera up and snap some photos before she spooked. She never really took off, she moved a bit closer to shore and watched our two solo canoes pass...

I bet juggling the fittings while making measurements got pretty frustrating. I'm glad to see all the progress you've made. It looks great!

Neat. I'm sure that took a bit of head scratching to work out. Looks good. If you had used a stop sign for the rudder would it have slowed the canoe down?

Nice camera work! The canoe tossers really did a nice job of dropping the canoe very evenly. I watched it a couple of times for fun.

I'm not sure if you've been to expeditionportal.com or not. They have forums there and all kinds of folks traveling, camping and living out of all sorts of vehicles. You may see some products you didn't know existed, I know I have. Neat ideas for sure. Makes me miss my white Tacoma.

Pretty canoes for sure. It must be nice to take in the sounds and smells of the canoe shop in the first few photos. Hear the floor creak, feel the warmth of the wood stove and smell all the freshly cut and shaped wood. Great stuff. Best of luck with your venture.
