    Help identifying Wenonah Adirondack

From the description it sounds to be in near new condition. 2K is probably okay for a fairly new canoe. I think these are listed at 36lbs.

    Help identifying Wenonah Adirondack

I liked mine. It turned easier if it was loaded stern heavy. Tuff-weave can be repaired like fiberglass. If you wear through the gelcoat and into the layup, you can build it back up with fiberglass cloth. Mine had seen some abuse from previous owners. It already had two different colors of...

Not sure how far north you are willing to drive, But this looks nice. It checks many of your boxes. It lists at 65 lbs on their website. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1506532256785481/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post

If it doesn't have floatation chambers it is Royalex. If it has chambers and gelcoat it is most likely Tuff-weave. Any pictures?

    Help identifying Wenonah Adirondack

You may try Wenonah. They used to be helpful witn older models. I had a Fisherman 16; the predecessor to the Adirondack. They are essentially the same hull. I liked mine. Pretty efficient for 16 feet. Not much, if any rocker. It is asymmetrical and mine had tractor seats so it was really not...

Replacement for Old Town Discovery 169

Wenonah uses what they call Tuff-weave. It is a fiberglass and polyester layup. It makes for a stiff hull that can take some abuse. It is not going to be as forgiving as Royalex or T-Formex, but will arguably paddle better. I had a Wenonah in Tuff-weave and liked it a lot. The port stern...

    My first wanigan experience

All this wanigan talk has got me thinking I should build one. I have been using a Sterilite footlocker for years to hold camping gear for car/canoe camping. Kind of a plastic wanigan I guess. Things that can't get wet go in dry bags. Things that can tolerate water go in the footlocker...

Replacement for Old Town Discovery 169

It looks like there may be something going on on the port stern of the Wenonah. It may be just the lighting. Another factor besides length and material is the seats. The Wenonah has tractor seats. People seam to either love them or hate them. I liked the ones I had, but my son did not.

Here is a Spirit II in Tuff-weave. 58ish pounds. Maybe a little longer than you are looking for, but a very versatile canoe. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/666320635377692/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post
