I entered a very large segment of a trip report with pictures and it has now disappeared. This was about a week's worth of work. I don't suppose there is any way of getting it back. Is there anyway to SAVE text and pics when inserting a long trip report before posting?

Very cool that you met Walter Port. The canoe trip was originally his idea. I wondered what happened to him later in life. He gave up a scholarship to University of Chicago I think it was in order to complete the canoe trip.

I just got back, well actually in the process of driving back, from northern Saskatchewan. My flight into Cree Lake was delayed a day due to heavy smoke from raging fires in the Northwest Territories. There was also a fire near southern Cree Lake. Some of the days on a three week trip were smoky.
