Took 3 days private instruction at NOC many years ago and it was top notch…from all I have heard it’s only gotten better. If Riversport is still active on the Yough that would be a good option also. Used to hang out there…but again, many moons ago.

If you really feel the need try clear vinyl tubing from your hardware store. Slit an it will hold onto the gunnel nicely.

Campfire Grill in Flatrock NC has a nice OT WC hanging in the restaurant. Not really canoe country (but there are some paddling opportunities around). (Couldn’t see serial number for ID.)

Probably originally intended for the beach goers. Those things are nearly as aggravating there as they are in the back country. And there are often multiples going at once.

Agree with pricing advice from M. No experience with the Fox but I would take the Indy over the Slipper…newer design, room for camping gear, better performance. If you can portage the weight that would be my choice. Of course it depends on your size and weight. If you are short and light the...
